The Competition
- This “Win 25 Free Straws 2025” competition (“the Competition”) is run by Livestock Improvement Pty Limited (LIC Australia). LIC Australia can be contacted in relation to this Competition by emailing admin@licaus.com.au.
- The Competition will begin on the 1st March 2025 and will continue until 1st April 2025 (the “Competition Period”).
- The winner of the Competition will be selected at random by LIC Australia by 15 April 2025. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To enter, an entrant must:
(a) Be 18 years of age or older;
(b) Agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry;
(c) Provide his or her full and correct name, address, email address and contact telephone number; and
(d) Remain a purchasing customer of LIC genetics for spring 2025
Conditions of Competition Entry
NOTE: Any entry which fails to meet the entry criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry will be invalid. Only one entry per person is allowed. LIC Australia is not responsible for any late, lost or incorrectly submitted entries.
- Any entries that are illegible or incomplete, or contain offensive, fraudulent or unlawful content may be disqualified and removed from the Competition at LIC Australia’s sole discretion.
- Current employees or contractors of LIC Australia or its parent company Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (LIC) or any of either companies’ associated agencies/distributors or suppliers are not permitted to enter the Competition.
- The winner of the Competition will receive 25 Free Conventional Straws of a performance bull of your choice (subject to availability) (“the Prize”). If for any reason, the chosen bull straws are not available, LIC Australia reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal or lesser value. No cash or other alternatives will be offered.
- LIC Australia will make all reasonable endeavours to contact the winner on 15 April 2025. The winner will be notified by LIC Australia contacting them on the details provided in the entry.
- The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
- If LIC Australia is not able to get in contact with the winner drawn before 30 or the winner is unable to accept the Prize, LIC Australia reserves the right to redraw the Prize and the previous winner will have no further claim to the Prize.
- Personal information provided by an entrant in submitting an entry into the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and for any other purposes referred to in these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry. LIC Australia takes its privacy obligations seriously and refers you to our privacy policy for this Competition which you can find at www.licnz.com.au
- By entering this Competition, the entrant will be deemed to have consented to their name being used for promotional purposes relating to the Competition by LIC Australia or LIC including but not limited to their name being posted on LIC and LIC Australia’s social media platforms and websites.
General Terms
- By entry into the Competition, the entrant has agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry.
- The Competition and these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry are governed by the laws of Australia.
- LIC Australia will not be liable to any entrant or any other person for any loss or damage, however caused, arising out of any entrant’s participation in the Competition. To the extent that LIC Australia cannot disclaim its liability its liability will in any case be limited to the value of the Prize.
- LIC Australia reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the Competition or amend these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry.
